Digital Literacy
The South Australian public network aims to stretch the horizons of South Australians through access to existing and emerging digital technologies and ensure that South Australians have the digital access and skills needed to participate in the digital world.
Most libraries offer digital literacy sessions, at basic, intermediate and advanced levels, which promote fun, welcoming, engaging and flexible learning environments.
These sessions can include one-to-one or group learning opportunities, and can include such digital citizenship topics such as computer and website awareness, introduction to tablets, and email, to intermediate topics, such as social media and exploring shopping tools, and to current and emerging technologies, such as robotics, 3D printing and virtual reality.
Check with your local library for courses and times.
